Overview

During recruiting season, we noticed that many students repeatedly tailor their résumés for each job application. This process is time-consuming and makes it difficult to know which experiences best match a role.

We built and launched Career Tailor, an AI-powered platform that analyzes job descriptions, selects the most relevant experiences from a user’s career library, and generates a tailored résumé for each opportunity.

My Role

As a UX/UI Designer, I led the redesign of the core user experience, interface, branding, and design system. I worked closely with the engineering team to turn an existing functional product into a more intuitive, cohesive, and polished experience.

Career Tailor uses Inter for clear, readable content and Chiron Sung HK for expressive headlines, balancing usability with brand personality.

Color

Designed for young job seekers, Career Tailor uses a blue and soft green gradient to balance the technological feel of an AI product with a lighter, more approachable experience.

Logo

Career Tailor is abbreviated as CT, and the logo combines the letters C and T into one symbol. The “T” blends a fountain pen with a sewing needle to represent writing and customization, while the dashed lower curve of the “C” reinforces the idea of stitching and tailoring.
